| Project Description | Construction of a waste water treatment plant |
| Executing Agency | Foça Municipality |
| Location | Foça |
| Duration | |
| Status | This project,
with the title of Foça Sewerage Project, was firstly included in the Public
Investment Program in 1992 provided that it would be executed by the Bank of Provinces and financed through its investment budget. But due to the insufficient appropriations of the previous years it could not be realised until 1997 and was decided by the Foça Municipal Assembly to be carried out within the framework of ATAK project and financed through a foreign loan guaranteed by the Foça Municipality. Consequently, in 1997 Public Investment Program, the project has been taken out of the projects of Bank of Provinces and put under the ATAK project of Ministry of Tourism as a sub-project named Foça Waste Water Treatment Plant. ATAK is a general project covering the completion of infrastructure such as water supply, sewerage, waste collection and disposal in the selected tourism centres along the Aegean and Mediterranean costs from Ayvalık down to Alanya. Foça Waste Water Treatment project will be executed by the Municipality under the supervision of Ministry of Tourism. |
