shall extend the nearly completed "Tarsus-Adana-Gaziantep"
motorway project to Þanlýurfa, thus completing the motorway axis connecting the Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP) to the East Mediterranean ports. The axis also coincides with the main transit axis extending from the Bulgarian border to the Iraqi border. The project was awarded in 1998 according to full credit-based financing and yearly required amount of the credit has been sought. |
