| Status | The project
is located on Melet River in Yeşilırmak Basin. The final design of
the project is completed. There are two hydro-power plants under this project title: Topçam and Darıca I. Regarding the Topçam HEPP, civil works are still in progress. The three units in the project are scheduled to be commissioned in 2002.Foreign funding is required for the purchase of electro-mechanical equipment and relevant contract is scheduled to be awarded in 2000, There is no progress in Darıca I HEPP. This project will be initiated in forthcoming years. The total project cost below includes both projects while the credit requirement belongs only to the Topçam project. |
